Master’s Program in Public Policy (MPP) is designed for students who wish to develop and advance their knowledge and skills in preparing, implementing, analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of public policy of the government or administration at national and sub-national levels. Public policy is a set of principles or regulations adopted by the governmental institutions to address challenges of a society or to navigate and achieve specific agendas. Based on public policy, enterprises, private companies, national and international organizations can develop internal policies, strategies, rules and guidelines on how they should operate their business or missions.
The School of Public Policy at the National University of Management offers a Master's program in Public Policy. Students must complete two years of coursework, earning a total of 48 credits, and are required to write a thesis.

***Specialized seminars are conducted by each supervisor and/or organized as a series by the NUM School of Public Policy to support students in mastering their majors and in writing their master’s theses. Within one week after the event, each student must submit the thesis deliverables and reflection papers to the administration for credit.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Management, or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (Cambodia).
Candidates are required to successfully defend their research proposal and demonstrate English proficiency.
Under the Master’s Program in Public Policy, students must complete a two-year curriculum consisting of 48 credit hours. This includes 36 credits for basic core, major, and elective courses, and 12 credits for the thesis, with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0. Students are also encouraged to actively participate in guest lectures, workshops, academic dialogue forums, and local or overseas study tours.
Students pursuing studies in public policy have access to diverse employment opportunities across public, private, and non-profit sectors. These roles are available at local, regional, and international levels, allowing them to contribute to areas such as governance, corporate strategy, development initiatives, academic research, and education.
