13th NUM Business Talk Series – Legal Perspectives in the Digital Era

On 13 June 2026, the School of Graduate Studies and the School of Public Policy, in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Association of Cambodia (IPAC) and NTNC Law Firm, successfully hosted the 13th NUM Business Talk Series at our Wat Phnom Campus.

The event was presided over by H.E. Prof. Dr. Hor Peng, Rector of NUM. We were also honored to welcome H.E. Um Rattana (President of IPAC), H.E. Ny Vichet, and H.E. Pich Ang, who shared valuable insights on how digital transformation is reshaping the legal landscape for businesses and creators in Cambodia and beyond.

NUMSPP Students Visit Danone Specialized Nutrition Cambodia

On 12 June 2026, the NUM School of Public Policy, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nop Kanharith, organized a site visit to Danone Specialized Nutrition (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. with students from the Bachelor of International Relations program. The visit gave students valuable exposure to how global companies operate and connect classroom learning with real practice.

NUM School of Public Policy – Master of Laws Entrance Exam 2026

On 10 June 2026, the School of Public Policy at the National University of Management (NUM) successfully held the Entrance Examination for the Master of Laws in International Law program at the NUM International Campus, Veal Sbov.

The examination was presided over by H.E. Dr. HOR Peng, Rector of NUM, together with members of the examination committee, ensuring a rigorous and transparent process for aspiring candidates.

The School of Public Policy Hosts One-Day Training Workshop on GEDSI Integration for Youth Policy Forum 2026

On June 6, 2026 — The School of Public Policy has convened a specialized one-day training workshop titled “Integrating GEDSI into Quality Research for NUM Students.” Held at the NUM International Campus (Veal Sbov), the workshop serves the research cohort of the Youth Policy Forum 2026.

The program is coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. NOP Kanharith, Vice Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. As part of the broader Youth Policy Forum initiative launched by NUM, this capacity-building session is made possible through the support of the Australian Government via Ponlok Chomnes II Program.

This targeted training is designed to robustly strengthen students’ fundamental research skills while equipping them with the tools necessary to enhance the public dissemination and real-world impact of their final research findings.

Youth Policy Forum Engages with MoEYS Experts

On 03 June 2026, the School of Public Policy at the NUM led a delegation of research students from the Youth Policy Forum program to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. The delegation was warmly welcomed by H.E. Chek Lim, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Youth
and Dr. Siek Nguon, Office Chief of the Department of Policy of the MoEYS.

Coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. NOP Kanharith, Vice Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, the meeting allowed students to seek expert advice and gather key insights from ministry specialists to help define their research topics and problem statements. This initiative highlights NUM’s ongoing commitment to building student capacity in research and evidence-based policymaking.

The Youth Policy Forum is initiated by NUM and supported by the Australian Government through the Ponlok Chomnes II Program.

NUMSPP Highlight – Adjunct Lecturer Nuch Ramo

Currently, Mr. Nuch Ramo is an adjunct lecturer at School of Public Policy (SPP), National University of Management (NUM), where he teaches BIR students «Law and Politics (LAP)».
LAP is an interdisciplinary field of study examining how law is created, interpreted and enforced within socio-political system. After completing the course, students are expected to be able to understand basic concepts of law (sources, principle of legality and legal systems) as well as operation of government through relations among State, citizens, experts and policy stakeholders.
Nuch Ramo graduated from National School of Administration (ENA), promo Hannah Arendt. He holds MA in Public Administration (Strasbourg, 2020) and MA in Political Science (Lyon, 2013), France.

NUMSPP Highlight: Prof. Dr. Emmanuel Dialma

Professor Profile : Emmanuel DIALMA

He is a French professor and doctor in public law, graduate of the Institute of Political Sciences of Lyon, and an international arbitrator with the National Arbitration Council of Cambodia. With a background as an NGO legal advisor in anti‑trafficking, journalist at Cambodge Soir, and consultant for the Committee of Administrative Reform and the Royal School of Judges, he brings diverse professional experience.

Over the past 24 years in Cambodia, he has taught International Relations and Political Science at various universities and faculties, from Bachelor to PhD. He is also the author of numerous articles in fields such as anti‑trafficking, ethnology, political science, philosophy, and spirituality. Currently at NUMSPP, he teaches Political Behavior and Diplomatic Foundations, equipping students with essential knowledge of diplomacy in political decision‑making

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Sa Kennvidy, Deputy Director General of the Directorate General of Technical Vocational Education and Training (DGTVET).

Coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. NOP Kanharith, Vice Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, the meeting allowed students to seek expert advice and gather key insights from ministry specialists to help define their research topics and problem statements. This initiative highlights NUM’s ongoing commitment to building student capacity in research and evidence-based policymaking. The Youth Policy Forum program is initiated by NUM under the support of The Asia Foundation (TAF).
