Consultative Workshop on Curriculum Development for Master of International Law-NUM-SPP

Master of International Law Curriculum Workshop held on July 4, 2025 from 8:30AM to 11:30AM at National University of Management (NUM), International Campus.

The event was led by Dr. Prof. Hor Peng, Rector of the National University of Management, and coordinated by Asso. Prof. Nop Kanharith, Director of the School of Public Policy.

Guest speakers shared valuable insights and international perspectives, including:

Prof. Vincent Tomkiewicz, Université Paris 8 Vincennes, on program design and international law education in France

Prof. Anthony Marinac, Australian lawyer and Adjunct Professor at NUM, on teaching international law in Australia

Prof. Dr. Peter Becker, German lawyer and Adjunct Professor at NUM, on public international law

It was attended by distinguished guests, Professors, international law experts, and guest speakers joined to share ideas and contribute to developing a stronger legal education in Cambodia.

Workshop on Contract Coversion Rules in Cambodia and Japan-NUM-SPP

On Saturday, 21 June 2025, the School of Public Policy at the National University of Management (NUM) successfully hosted an engaging seminar titled:

“A Comparison of Labor Contract Conversion Rules in Cambodia and Japan”

Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nop Kanharith, the session explored key differences in labor laws between the two countries, with rich discussions on:

  • Compulsory vs. At-Will Conversion
  • Legal frameworks and policy practices
  • Insights into labor standards and employment rights

AI Guideline at NUM-SPP

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the NUM School of Public Policy hosted an important meeting on the use of AI in academia.

This initiative was guided by the NUM AI Guidelines (Numbers 254 & 255) for both faculty and students, aiming to foster a responsible and effective approach to AI in our academic environment.

The meeting was presented by Mrs. Prak Sunday, Official in charge of administration.

1st Orientation on Entrance Exam at NUM-SPP

On June 6, 2025, Dr. Nop Kanharith, associate professor and Ms. PRAK Sunday met prospective students and provided guidance on the application process to international graduate programs at NUM School of Public Policy (Master of Public Policy, Master of Science in Digital Economy and Master of Laws).

In this event, Associate Prof. Nop explained students on the application process, format of application form and required contents of preliminary research proposals to the potential students. Each academic program at the NUM-School of Public Policy offers variety of courses which are foundations for the students to narrow their expertises in specific topics according research theses.
